Aroona Khan has been a Lecturer in the Program in Academic Writing since 2012. She has a BA in Linguistics and an MA TESOL from San Jose State University, CA. She has been teaching academic English skills since 2001 with a focus on academic reading and writing skills. During her career, she has worked with a diverse student population in k-12, community college, and university settings. Her academic interests include English for Academic Purpose, second language acquisition, and teaching second-language reading and writing.
