ePortfolio Showcase
My name is Michelle Nesi.
I am a junior at Stony Brook, expected graduation May 2012. I am a Psychology major, Business minor. My interests are in the areas of clinical psychology, specifically anxiety and depression. Reducing stigma around depression and suicide has been a main goal of mine since the beginning of my college career. To support this passion, I have become a CHILL Peer Health Educator, the President of Active Minds on Campus (Stony Brook University Chapter) and I demonstrate my commitment to the campus and the community through the AmeriCorps Education Award Program. I am also a Teacher's Assistant for the CHOICE Peer Health Education Program, a Student Assistant at the Counseling and Psychological Services Center @ SBU and a Research Assistant in a social psychology lab on campus.
In the fall of 2012, I plan on furthering my education by obtaining an MSW.
When I want to relax, I enjoy photography, playing with my dog, baking and listening to and finding new music.
