View ePortfolio: Valerie Narr
My name is Valerie Narr. I am a 20 year old who is creative and empathetic. I am currently an English major with my main focus in Creative Writing. In fact, I had a poem published in an anthology from poetry.com at age 11. Also, I won an editors choice award from them at age 12, which was only given to 33 people internationally that year. I aspire to become a middle school English teacher. I feel that I would be a good fit for this type of job position because I have had experience working with both mainstream and special education children from Kingergarten all the way through 8th grade. Lastly, I am a part of Phi Thetta Kappa and Pi Alpha Sigma and was inducted at Suffolk County Community college for both of these honor societies.
