In the Fall 2013 semester I am finally taking DAN 165 which is contemporary dance! I am beyond excited to finally be taking a dance class here at Stony Brook!  It is really turning into quite an experience, because even though I have a background in dance, I find myself learning new things everyday.  I also find myself fixing habits that I never knew I had and that of course is always useful and will make me a better dancer.  In addition I am meeting tons of new people and learning about artists that I have never heard of.  I hope that when this class is over I can continue growing through dance and learning more about movements and how my body works and carry that with me in everything else I do.
