"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

-Dr Seuss

This quote is a quote that I live by. I will always stay true to myself in all situations. I will not stray from what I feel is morally and ethically correct nor will I let others persuade me into actions I feel go against my own opinions. This is my life quote and my life philosophy.

However when it comes to being a professional, I feel it is important to have a strong sense of self and integrity so one does not fall into the a mold. But being a professional also means being a modified version of oneself. This is the version you use when you are talking to your elders, your professors, your bosses. This is the version where you have admiration and utmost respect for the person since you will be learning from them and they will be a mentor or a guide for you as you experience what they have to offer you in the workplace.

So my professional philosophy would be to stay true to my moral and ethical beliefs but also being a strong, independent person who is always willing and eager to learn from those above me. I have experienced only so much and their will always be people to learn from. I feel that no task is to minor or beneath me because every task that someone asks me to do has some meaning to the company and a lesson for me to learn.

I openly accept and welcome all opportunities and I take on all tasks with an open mind willing to soak in all that they have to offer. I believe in life long learning, and being in a workplace will always offer life long learning if I keep my eyes open and myself open to opportunities.
