I actually enjoyed writing this critique of Gloria Anzalduas article, "La Conciencia De La Mestiza: Towards a New Consciousness". The article itself was very interesting. It really got me thinking. Her article opened my mind to a way of thought and existance I had not encountered before. This would be the Borderlands. I have expirenced the confusion of not fully belonging anywere, yet at the same time almost belonging everywhere. But this was never put into terms that I could grasp until I read her article. If I were to write this paper again, I would delve deeper into the meaning behind her words, and try to piece them together more fluently than I did in this paper.
