What Are The Benefits of Creating an ePortfolio From Scratch?   

Creating an ePortfolio from scratch is very similar to creating an ePortfolio from a template. When you create an ePortfolio from a template, your ePortfolio will automatically start with a set of pre-named sections and pages that show what is required of you for a course. Sometimes creating an ePortfolio from a template forces the user in one direction and doesn't allow for much creativity. That's where the beauty of creating an ePortfolio from scratch comes in.

If you create an ePortfolio from scratch, you will start with one 'Home' section and a 'Welcome' page. Creating an ePortfolio from scratch gives you more freedom to upload sections of your choice, allowing for more personalization and design.

For help, please see a TLT SINC Consultant in the Melville Library SINC Site.

If you walk into the library through the Faculty Center entrance, pass through the SINC site and it is the Student Help Desk on the left near the double doors.

If you enter the library near the main entrance (near the book drop-off), pass the commuter lounge and make a left through the double doors into the SINC Site.
