The above quote was read in an article during MBA 527, Women in the Workplace.  Peggy Drexler's article from the Wall Street Journal, entitled "The Tyranny of the Queen Bee," discussed the role of women in their professional environments- especially those in increasingly competitive, cutthroat work climates.  Read toward the completion of the semester, this quote stood out as a means to summarize a major theme highlighted in the course. Belittled and criticized for decades, it is important for women to take a strong, aggressive stance if they wish to accomplish all of their goals and succeed in a world most often dominated by men.  As a young woman, I am aware of the disparity found between men and women in both professional, and personal environments, and this course- summed up by this specific quote, epitomizes the unfortunate, yet  necessary duty required for the advancement of women in our world.
