Jhalak 2010

On March 5th 2010, HSC(Hindu Student Council) and SSA(Sikh Student Association) did a collaborative even called "Jhalak". It was basically a dance show. The master of ceremony was a popular youtube star Jus Reign. There were performances by various on-campus dance groups like Khatra, Thilaana, De Taali etc.

Langar(Community Kitchen)

In Fall 2011 we organized a Langar or a Community Kitchen. Its basically offering free food to the people who then sit on the floor to eat together. It has a dual purpose, to serve the hugry and promote equality by making everyone eat at the same level.

Diwali 2011

Like every year, last semester too, the SSA and HSC collaborated to celebrate the festival celebrate the festival of lights Diwali, the festival celebrated by the maximum number of Indians. This included dance and singing performances, Indian food and then an open dance floor.
