This course focuses on the economic history of the European Union, from its origins to the introduction of the Euro, to the most recent developments of Europe’s debt crisis, and its impact on the American economy. Develop a global business perspective by understanding how EU member states are connected to the global economy.  Past and current news articles will be used for group discussions.  Basic financial and economic metrics will be analyzed and explained.
