Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology was the first school I attended after high school. It is located next to LaGuardia Airport in Flushing, New York. Vaughn College is a relatively small school with only around 1700 students total. I choose Vaughn College because it was not too far from home and has great professors.


   

At Vaughn College I have taken the classes towards my power-plant license and degree as I have taken my general and airframe classes at Easter Suffolk BOCES. The classes cover all areas of the power-plant if aircraft from maintenance operations, piston and gas turbine theory and maintenance. Also ignition, electrical and various power-plant systems, along with the final class of certification review.
