My four years in Stony Brook University has been a wild ride. I started out as a freshmen with the intention of going to medical school right after I graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. However, I have decided that I will pospone my going to medical school and focus on the field of Higher Education. The courses that I have taken reflect both my requirements as well as my personal interests. Aside from taking psychology, eneral chemistry, organic chemistry and biology, I love to take classes in philosphy and dance. 

  I believe it is important to take classes you find interesting. That is why I love our general education system. It provides well-roundedness and flexibility to choose what you want to do. There has to be some control in college and especially with our studies.
