Stony Brook University was one of my top college choices, mainly for its highly acclaimed engineering program. However the college life itself has also become an amazing experience that it came to me as a bit of a surprise. I am a born bred city girl; Stony Brook is a completely different environment with a nice urban feel to it while having a vast and diverse student body, but at the same time it also encompasses a nice quiet suburban community where everything is not as fast paced and can truly be enjoyed!
