Hi, my name is Michael Cattan and I'm a transfer student majoring in Health Science. I graduated from Hicksville High School in 2009 and  in 2012, I  graduated from Nassau Community College with an associates degree in liberal arts.

A few fun facts about me are:

• As you can see by the picture above, I love fishing. Fishing is very peaceful and relaxing, its like a home away from home. A goal of mine is to eventually own a boat.

• I enjoy being active, I'm either going to the gym or playing a sport. One of my favorite sports to play is hockey.

• I have a passion for snowboarding and every winter you can find me on a mountain.  I have gone to places such as Camelback, Hunter Mt, Bellyare, Mt Creek, Stowe Mt, and Mt Tremblant to snowboard.

• I am a huge New York Yankees fan and it was awesome to be in attendance to see Mariano Rivera break the all time saves record.

• One of the best vacations I've been on was when I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Punta Cana was extremely beautiful and I also went scuba diving and explored the coral reefs. Scuba diving was an awesome experience and I really would like to do it again in the future.
