This is the first semester eportfolios have been test-piloted at Stony Brook.  I'm finding we tend to focus on the tool rather than the reflective learning.  This is a risk, but I know this could improve the way we teach and learn.  I'm seeing some amazing eportfolios from a few of the students.  The one that inspired me the most was from a Chemical Engineering student, Eda Gimenez at http://stonybrook.digication.com/egimenez/.  These students are world changers.  I'm learning from them.
