Technology As I See It

Google it.

The fact that “Google” has become a verb in itself tells us how far we have come with the notion of Technology. Science, Innovation, Engineering and Mathematics are the first words that come to my mind when it comes to technology. The only thing that challenges technology is better technology. There is always a strive to achieve more, to be better and to go further.

From the day I have started to understand the world around me, technology has been a huge part of my life. Be it Healthcare, Business Management, Sports, or even simply raising a child requires technology nowadays. In my opinion, technology has had the greatest impact in the world of Healthcare. Starting from treating simple fever to the deadly Cancer, the advancement in technology has been a gift to mankind. But on the other hand the world has become extremely dependent on technology. Personally I cannot even imagine life without a smartphone; to go out somewhere without a GPS, or not have a calendar to remind me of the work I have due seems like a nightmare.

However, these smartphones or social lives on the Internet has brought an end to real social life, as people are always seen busy on their phone to even sit without it for two minutes to talk. Technology may have brought the whole world together, but only virtually. We still have a long way to go and much to learn.
