"Excellence is not an act, it's a habit." Aristotle.
As a Physician Assistant, I currently work in a reproductive healthcare/family planning setting. I have worked in my current clinical area for the last 8 1/2 years. Prior to that, I worked in OB/GYN in a hospital for 6 1/2 years where I provided in-patient and out-patient clinical care.
Prior to pursuing my graduate degree, I had the time to indulge in my favorite hobby. I am an amateur photographer and have taken several digital photography classes. I prefer to work with black and white and sepia mediums and focus on landscape and animal subjects. I rarely do portraits. When I do take photos of individuals, it is usually with them interacting with their environment.
Below is an example of my favorite hobby. It is picture of Palatuvier, which is a small fishing village in Tobago. It is one of my favorite pictures which I framed and is currently hanging on the wall behind my bed. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do on an everyday basis.

Hi Nancy,
Thank you so much for your feedback. Of course I do not mind that you reviewed by portfolio. At the beginning of this process, I was unsure of what and how to develop this portfolio as I had never utilized this medium to present information prior. I am thankful that the information presented was clear and that you were able to glean something from it.
I am pre-diabetic with a strong family history of diabetes and have a partner with diabetes. I am committed to stopping at this point and going the diet and exercise route. I am so glad that you have chosen to manage it in this manner and that it seems to be working for you.
Good luck with your training for the 15K this spring. I wish you the best in that endeavor as well as this journey called life.
Your feedback meant so much to me.

Ressa,
I'm the ePortfolio Program Manager and technical support for your course. I am able to see the eportfolios and I hope you don't mind that I look over your eportfolio. You've done an exemplary job with the design and presentation of your eportfolio. You drew me in as a viewer. I have Diabetes 2 and I'm controlling it by diet and exercise. I ran/walked my first 5K with my daughter last November and I'm training to run a 15K with her in the spring.
What a vital topic you chose and I hope you continue to get the information out with this with your eportfolio and other means. Do you have a blog? Anyway I can help you, let me know. This is fabulous.
You Welcome page (Bio) the mark. You showed different dimensions of your interests. You're right on with this and I hope you continue.
Fabulous Job! Thank you for providing a model example of eportfolio use.
