MUS 450: Seminar in the History of                                    Music

This class discusses the music of the 19th Century, or what is often called “Romantic Music,” with a particular focus on how constructions of the persona of Ludwig van Beethoven impacted how music was composed, performed, theorized and listened to during the century that followed.
