This was a fascinating course about systems theory and the characteristics of systems. I was especially interested in the problems that can develop in systems and some of the approaches that may be used to address these problems.
Our final project was to select a system to describe and analyze. We had to make a presentation to the class and also write a paper. I was amazed by the large variety of topics that were addressed by my classmates. From long-distance running, to cooking, to the brewing of alcohol, to more expected sorts of systems. Each one was well-done and interesting.
My topic was "PBIS: Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports". This is a program that is being used in my school.
