The lab safety training classes provided helpful and useful information regarding proper waste disposal, safe lab practices, and general lab procedures. These classes prepared me to safely handle the chemicals and not endanger myself and others who are working in the lab with me. Proper lab procedures and waste disposal are crucial for me to know, since I am in a lab that contains hazardous chemicals that will be used for my research project.
