Join us for our first annual Spotlight on ePortfolios Student Showcase at Stony Brook University. This is our first academic year test-piloting the eportfolio process for our courses and programs. Already, our Stony Brook students are making headlines. With all the hard work and dedication our students have demonstrated, the Faculty Center at Stony Brook University will recognize the student leaders on our eportfolio implementation team their outstanding work they have illustrated in their ePortfolios. Although our entire student body is filled with dynamic and engaging individuals, we are carefully selecting a group of 50 students for the leadership and creativity they are displaying with their eportoflios. They will lead the way for authentic learning through the use of eportfolios at Stony Brook.
Our campus community is a highly passionate group of individuals. All coming from diverse backgrounds, the truth is Stony Brook University is producing an entire population of students determined to make a difference in order to positively impact the lives of others beyond their own scope.
We are proud of our students. Working long hours both day and night, the dedication, compassion, and determination they all manifest is an inspiration to our campus community and the world beyond. As a result, our showcase is meant to honor our model eportfolio Stony Brook students for leading the way for integrative learning through the use of eportfolios and truly illustrating the real essence of authentic learning.
