Genetic Modification- A Monopoly on Food. "In the United States, up to 80% of all food on the market have some time of genetically modified organism (plant or animal). There are many sources that claim there are health issues with GM foods while other sources state that the evidence isn't strong enough. The problem isn't so much that there is genetically modified food, it's how the FDA and the government have allowed food companies to bypass safety procedures as well as take over the food market."
