I major in Mechanical Engineering with hopes of becoming a product designer,

though, I'm not sure what it is that I want to design. However, I would love to try everything and anything. I love creating, designing, and drafting. My interest in visual arts started in high school with studio art/portfolio. Before becoming a mechanical engineer, I had planned to major in studio art with physics. Once the college search began, I realized that there are programs out there tailored towards technological design. Although I wasn't able to attend my dream school with my dream major, I am making the most out of my time at Binghamton. Within my major, there are classes that involve design. In addition, I'm picking up new interest in other fields such as sustainability or electrical engineering, in hopes to narrow down what it is that I want to design.

Imperfect perfectionist might be a stretch, but I do strive for the best. Up till the last minute, I pay a lot of attention to detail in anything I do. There is always room for improvement, you just have to find it. The same goes for myself as an individual. I'm always pushing myself to do better, learn more, and think outside the box. It is a difficult process, but I'm working hard towards my goals. This isn't to say that I have no social life.

Friends, Family, Fun. During my down time, I enjoying hanging out with friends, relaxing and talking. A way for me to de-stress is watching television or music videos. I love my family gatherings; when everyone is around, the mood becomes very festive. I ocassionally work on CAD and drawings. I love to swim because it's very calming to be in water. I also love to snowboard. It's very exciting and thrilling to speed down the mountain.

Some friends would say that I'm bubbly. Though, I'm not quite sure what being bubbly means. I am very cheerful and happy most of the time; I smile alot. I do have stress, but I handle it well. Stress is good, it keeps a person competitive and motivated, but too much becomes hurtful. I have my priorities straight so when it comes time to hang out, I am fully enjoying myself and not worrying about work. I enjoy helping people out because it eases their mind and become more relieved, thus happier.

Responsibility is key. I take my responsibilities very seriously. It isn't enough to simply get the job done, but to get it done with quality and on time. When people entrust a task or project to me, they have certain expectations that I would get it done in a fashion that meets their standards. They know that I would get the job done on time, carefully, and with good quality. In another sense, I am responsible for myself. I rely on people, but at the end of the day it is still my responsibility to double check and make sure everything is right. I own up to my actions and faults. I fix and learn from my own mistakes.
