WOLFIE SWAG

 

 WOLFIE activities are a fun, easy way to earn extra credit in WRT courses.

Create a Social module for Credly badges in your ePortfolio, and add the badges to display skills. (Creating a social module is not required for you to get extra credit.)

 

1. START HERE!!!!!!

Register on WOLFIE using your NET ID/Password and the special code that I have provided to you through email (via BB announcements).

Read the FAQ to learn more about WOLFIE activities, achievements, and badges.

Take the 'What is your writing wolf?"quiz to complete the WOLFIE 101 track.

Get your "Way of the Wolf" badge.

 

2. 

Set up your profile.

Join the Den of your Wolf (group and forum).

(If you don't like the outcome of the quiz, you can retake it, or you can join any different den if you prefer. You can also join multiple dens.)

Introduce yourself in the forum.

Get your "Stylin' Profilin'" achievement.

 

3.Take the "What Pre-Writing Technique Fits my Personality?" quiz.

Complete the Pre-Writing track and get your "Inventor" badge.

 

4. Create a blog post and get your "BLOGGER!" badge.

 

5. Complete the Revision track and get your "Revision" badge.

 

6. Complete the Avoiding Plagiarism and Academic Honesty track and get your "Good Foot" badge.

 

7. Complete the Citation & Plagiarism track and get your "Citation Skills" badge.

 

8. NEW: There are additional badges you can earn: Research Maestro, Gamer Brain, and soon to be a Drafter badge. And more to come.

 

   

Each of these seven achievements will earn you 1 point of extra credit toward your final grade, for a total of up to 7 points (on the scale of 100 points given in the Grades and Asessments section).  Although you can only have up to 100 points for the semester, there are additional points that may be earned throughout the semester, such as a Peer Reviewer badge that other students can nominate you for, and some team challenges. If you are reading this as a member of a different class that uses WOLFIE credit, check with your instructor about how WOLFIE points are used.
